The mission of Seniorsmart is to improve the lives of older adults by creating products, services, and conducting research to promote independence. We focus on translational and applied research in brain health, driving, mobility, and home independence. Through these efforts, we create economic development by bringing new products and services to market.

Through our efforts, we will create knowledge, goods, and services that will promote economic growth through patents, licenses, and spin off companies.

The seniorsmart team is focused on improving independence for older adults and bringing exciting new products and services to market. Through the investments of our partners and groundbreaking interdisciplinary research, we are creating the knowledge, goods, services, that will both impact the lives of millions of people as they age, and also create jobs and economic growth that will benefit our entire state and region.
